Dave will also explain why he believes that Minnesota has in its recent history the prescription for change and will ask us what role we are willing to play in restoring confidence in our institutions and our leaders.\n\n \n\nDave Durenberger was born\, raised\, and educated at St. John's University in Collegeville\, MN. He became Executive Secretary to Harold Le Vander\, his law partner when he was elected Governor of Minnesota exactly 50 years ago.  In 1978 he was elected to the four-year balance of the Senate term of Hubert H. Humphrey and his wife Muriel and re-elected in 1982 and 1988. He retired in 1995 to serve on the Graduate Business School faculty at the University of St. Thomas and founded its National Institute of Health policy from which he retired in May\, 2014.  \n\n \n\nDave Durenberger\, and his wife Susan Bartlett Foote\, are the parents of six and the grandparents of 12\, varying in age from 8 to 22.\n\n  \n\n Wednesday\, October 19\, 2016\n\n11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\n\nThe Lowell Inn\, 102 N. Second Street\, Stillwater\n\n\n\nThe cost of the lunch and program is $17 and must be paid in advance to guarantee your reservation.
