DESCRIPTION:One of the region's most popular summer festivals\, Fun Fest attracts thousands of people each July who are drawn to great music\, great food and one of the best carnivals in the state.  The event is back where it belongs---in the heart of downtown New Richmond.  \n\n\n\nLet the countdown to Fun Fest begin.  Less than a month away we are excited for the second year back downtown. The carnival and beer tent are coming off record years and only bad weather will stop us from shattering last year's totals.\n\n \n\nWe're happy to announce the carnival wrist band times are the same as last year: Thursday 6pm-10pm\; Friday noon-4pm and 6pm-10pm\; Saturday noon-4pm and 6pm-10pm\; Sunday noon-4pm.\n\n \n\nThe live music lineup are Fun Fest favorites from the past: Thursday headliner Chris Kroeze 8pm-midnight\; Friday New Richmond's own Tucker Hennlich 6pm-8pm\, headliner Bad Girlfriends 8pm-midnight\, Saturday New Richmond's own True Heat 6pm-8pm\, headliner Paisan and the Family Brass 8pm-midnight.  No cover charge for any of the acts.\n\n \n\nParade has moved up Sunday to noon start (previously 12:30)\, lineup 11am by DQ.  Route runs south on Knowles Ave to 6th St.\n\n \n\nBean bag tourney and car show will be Saturday AM.\n\nBean Bag Tournament: Competitive $40\, Social $20. Register between 8am-9am at the event. \n\n  New this year is the Mallards Hot Dog Eating Contest.\n\n \n\nAre you ready to boost the local economy and downtown merchants? Then mark July 7-10 on your calendars!
